Make way for more awesome steaks! I’ve heard about Beeffalo time and time again from friends, my Facebook and Twitter newsfeed, and even my clients, so the fam-bam and I finally decided to try it out. Here’s the gist!
Directions: it’s at the very end of Gil Fernando st. (formerly A. Tuazon) Marikina City side! Two ways to get there if you’re coming from Marikina, Antipolo or Quezon City-
(1) Marcos Hi-way route: you know Sta. Lucia / Robinsons Metro East malls? The street that intersects Marcos Hiway on the other side of the malls is Gil Fernando. Turn to that street and go all the way ’til the end!
(2) Sumulong Hi-way route: Go this way if you’re nearer to Sumulong should you be from Masinag, Antipolo or Cogeo. Strife your way along the hiway and make a turn to Gil Fernando at the street between Bluwave and Robinsons Supermarket. You should see Beeffallo on your left whatever route you chose to follow.
Going by the slogan “The new home of the best affordable steaks and ribs plus many new mouthwatering dishes and some of the old grill favorites,” they do pretty good in the price vs. taste vs. size of serving scale if compared to the other steak houses in the area. But the unique trait of Beeffalo that appeals to their now-frequent diners is their laid-back backyard style grilling and dining- you’ll find it nowhere else!
Parking space is ample. If there are no more at the front of the establishment, you can park at the street sides.
What makes it an authentic American backyard grill and dine is that the chef grills your steaks outdoors! Sure, you’ll find yourself smelling like steak afterwards (if you decide to dine outdoors as well), but hey, it’s part of the experience.
Baby Back Ribs Single – 270 PHP
That juicy goodness on my Rib-eye Steak!
Pepperoni Biscuit Pizza – P140
Margherita Biscuit Pizza – 145 PHP
The verdict? The meal was quite enjoyably delicious, thank you very much! My sis and I ordered the Baby Back Ribs and Rib Eye Steak then just split it half to half so we can try both dishes. That said, it’s safe to say that they are both recommended! You can choose between rice and mashed potato for your steak sides but we advise you to try the latter first and just order rice afterwards. Why? Well, sis and her boyfriend are very particular when it comes to mashed potatoes (they make a really good one, too) but Beeffalo’s got them impressed.
Issues or problems we’ve encountered? Nothing noteworthy- but if anything, it did take awhile for our orders to get served (maybe ’cause it’s a weekend night and it was a full house?) Also the peanut sauce is good, too, but I guess I personally prefer wine sauce or pepper sauce for my steaks. Them adding a variety of sauces would be awesome!
